Coronavirus COVID-19

Notice to Leonard Residents:

Last Updated on 5/1/2020

On March 18, 2020, Governor Whitmer issued executive order 2020-15 which allows for local units of government to conduct meetings via remote access technologies.  These technologies include conference calling, real-time streaming or other platforms.

Executive Order 2020-59 issued by Governor Whitmer extended the non-essential work extension until May 15th 2020.

The Village of Leonard is currently looking to these technology options to find a cost effective solution that allows for our residents to participate in local monthly meetings.  Currently a decision has not been made as to the technology that the Village of Leonard will employ; as soon as the decision has been made there will be an update to the website and to the calendar of events.

Please check back frequently for updates.
